Races Galore!

Sunday, October 7th

8:00 AM - Bike ~8 Miles, 40 min
Watched the B.a.a. half marathon w/ Gabe & Liz so we took the bikes out on the course and tried to catch the leaders at as many points as we could. There was a bunch of stop and go but most of it was at a pretty hard effort.

5:00 PM - Run ~8 Miles, 51 min
River loop. Decided to pass on the swim today since it was nice out and I just didn't have the motivation to get in the pool. Felt good; plantar was fine, soleus and patella were tight but loosened up by the end of the run.

Good week. Solid workouts and was able to get some good alternate training in there to give the legs a break. I'm looking forward to the upcoming weeks and hopefully (with the help of Holly) I can keep my legs under me through the rest of the season.

"Womens Finish - Biggest mistake/greatest comeback I've ever seen!"

Agreed. Right up there with Dan Wilson's no-no at Big East's a few years back.

Yeah, I actually thought about referencing that finish in this post!
