Lincoln and a boot

Thursday, October 25th

5:00 PM - 10 Miles, 67 min
Lincoln

Ran solo at Lincoln tonight. With the days getting progressively shorter, all of the guys have retired the Thursday night Lincoln runs for the year. Since I only work til 4:00 on Thursdays, I can still get over there for one more week until the clocks change, at which point I'll have no chance of getting out there. After Nov. 4th, most of my runs will be in the morning in order to get daylight and trail time.

So I actually felt pretty good today, definitely better than the last few days. Other than a few little kinks here and there, I'm feeling pretty good going into the weekend. In my last couple PT visits, Holly's been really getting into my plantar with this tool she has. It hurts like a sonuvabitch but I think it needs to be done. It was a little tender today because of that but I think there's been some improvement overall. My boot finally came in (pictured on the right) so that'll be my new sleeping buddy and will hopefully leave me feeling better in the mornings at least. It was a little pricey so I hope it helps. Other than that, I'm just keeping things easy for the next couple days and getting ready for Sunday. Forecast looks good now so we'll see what kind of results it produces.

Go sox!
