Pretty decent workout tonight w/ Roland. Mile felt real easy and the 400s weren't too bad. The first couple felt quick since I just haven't been doing anything that fast yet, but as we got a few under our belt, they felt more comfortable. The place was a zoo tonight so it was hard to find room on the track... we constantly had to weave in and out and do a lot of work out in lane 3 & 4. Even though the effort on those were probably more in the 62 range in most cases, I still wanted to get something in that would actually be faster than my goal mile pace this weekend so I took a little longer recovery after the 8th 400 and ran another one at a harder effort. Not all out but close to it. Again, considering all the weaving involved, I think it shows promise. Now, I just need to string 4 of these together on Sunday (maybe a little faster) and I'll be in good shape.

Nice work, Jeff. Have fun on Sunday - it is not often you get the chance to chop off close to 10 seconds on a mile PR (UMaine's short track not included haha)!

This is true. Official Mile PR is still 4:19.00.
