Felt pretty good today. A little tired in the beginning and in the end but the bulk of the run felt great. I got home, stretched out well, had some fruits, a tall glass of endurox, then took a much needed ice bath (4 large bags of ice) for about 20 minutes. After all that, I took advantage of the nice weather and met up with my sisters for lunch downtown and walked around the city for a while.

Friday: 5 Miles, 35 min
Saturday: Tempo Run- 4.6 Miles (23:36), Total- 12 Miles, 74 min
Sunday: 13 Miles, 86 min
Total: 65 Miles (7 runs, 1 day off)
The weather has been awesome this week and has made it a lot easier to get out the door for all these runs. I was a little short of the planned 70 miles, but overall a good week for the log. I wasn't feeling super fast in the workouts but I had some good long runs and am confident that the strength is where it should be right now ...as for the speed, that will come as the season progresses.
