Great weekend

Sunday, September 30th

11:00 AM - 10 Miles, 67 min
Stink pit w/ Goodie, Nova, Diesel, Miles, and Batson

Legs were a little tight this morning when I woke up but they loosened up by the time we got out for a run. We had a good group today and the weather was perfect so it was a good run overall. Nova and I picked up the pace in the last few miles and cruised in comfortably. The whole weekend was a blast and I really enjoyed seeing so many friends, both old and new. So after sticking around to take 2nd place in the poker tournament and covering my gas expenses for the weekend, I started the trek back to Boston. I just got back now and am exhausted so I'll just sum up the weekly log and then I'm getting to bed.

Training Log (Sep 24-30):

Monday: 4 Miles, 27 min
Tuesday: 7.5 Miles, 52 min
Wednesday: Hills- 8 x HB to the top (1:44-1:52), Total- 12 Miles, 85 min
Thursday: 10 Miles, 65 min
Friday: 6.5 Miles, 43 min
Saturday: MK Alumni 5K- 15:35, Total- 15 Miles, 91 min
Sunday: 10 Miles, 67 min

Total: 65 Miles (7 runs)
Solid week overall, moderate mileage with a quality workout and race thrown in there. The plantar is still an issue and had a couple bad days this week but everything else seems good. Right gastroc was pretty tight today but not a bother on the run. I'll try to keep things consistent next week and hopefully continue this progress over the next month and be ready to race hard at Mayors Cup.

September: 254 Miles
